Dealers/Lineworkers/People-In-The-Know....chime in here if you'd like.

GM customer service called me today (follow up call from 4 weeks ago) and told me that they have an update from GM on my Camaro and that it is in the "holding cue"; I am vehicle order number 251. I know my dealer doesn't have 251 Camaros on order (Hendricks Chevy in NC) and I have a 1LT/RS CGM vehicle I ordered on Nov. 10th. So who wants to take a stab at what that means? My guess is that its the waiting list for vehicles currently on constraint. Oh yeah and they transferred me to marketing to get my welcome kit out (since I never got mine). I tried to get a ninja phone number to post on here for you guys but they would only transfer me(I tried). Any thoughts/ideas? Thanks

No idea but I agree with your "stab". You are #251 in the constraint holding pattern. Again, that would mean your car was pulled by GM- and it's a V6...

Not only that, but its a CGM V6. Very constrained man, expect a wait.

Wasn't my focus... How could a V6 be in a holding pattern when they supposedly haven't been pulled by GM? Aren't they all basically sitting in the dealer's computers? Or not...

Since SORP has not started.... are not all cars in the holding cue?

If you end up with # 251 lets us know!

I'm excited but don't mind the wait at all for what I want. Just found it curious they called me on this as if something had changed and this was actually an update.

You would think only cars that have been preferenced (3000 and above) would be in a holding cue.

First and foremost you need to ask your dealer what your current event code is on your order. That will tell a lot.
