It's going to be more of a stretch that the picture below and to me that is a lot.

and while more than I prefer, its nowhere close to the stretch on those original pics:

but, when necessity or money allow for it, I will be getting a wider tire, though probably only a 295
To me that is a lot of stretch. I posted the import pictures to show the extreme cases. Most of the ones I have see on here are like your tires.

I love douche-nozzles ... if its not 100% what they like and what they want, then obviously those doing it are "stupid". There is never any lenience for extenuating circumstances and there is never any possibility that their opinion is wrong.
Just because Pirelli says you can mount a 275/40 20 tire on an 11" wheel doesn't mean it will look good. Just like you said everyone has their own opinion. In my opinion stretched tires look like ass. Some people think black wheels look like ass. That is their opinion, mine is different.

Show me some wheel and tire specs on these specific cars from the factory that you say are streteched. I gaurantee you all are within the tire manufacturers recommended wheel widths.

I have yet to see a car manufacturer release a car with 11" wheels and 235 width tires. lol

Brand NEW Factory-OEM 2007 Lamborghini Gallardo wheels and tire. Sizes are 19"x8.5 front with 235-35ZR19 and 19"x11 rear with 335-30ZR19

The fronts sound a little narrow, but the 19x11 rear wheels with 335 tires

I can't get the pics to load says invalid file the fronts are stretched just as much as the 285 will be on the 11 rears I ordered but the back tires on the lambo are squared
