What longtube headers have the best fitment? - Camaro5 Chevy Camaro Forum / Camaro ZL1, SS and V6 Forums

I'm wondering from everyone's experience here what brands
of longtube headers have the best fitment in the LS1 engine
bay and what brands have the highest clearance from the
ground? I don't want to be scrapping my longtube headers
or mid pipe on every speed bump. Opnions? Experience?

i have the kooks headers on mine and they are great no problem with them at all

Kooks are excellent quality longtube headers but,they cost a pretty penny
though!
I have been looking at the QTP longtube headers and mid pipes.
Has anyone ever used this brand longtube headers before?
How is fitment and quality?

We just installed the TSP LT 1 7/8" headers. They were almost TOO easy to put in. I think we had it knocked out in around 1.5 hours.

From what I have seen on message boards, Kooks and American Racing fit very well.

my Dynatech SuperMaXX longtubes fit amazingly well. The finish is top notch.

Dynatechs drop right in from underneath the car too... Install is clean. No issues whatsoever with mine at 14K miles. Power and sound with the MBRP is thunderous as well.

I'm wondering what catback exhausts people are running that sound good
with the Dynatech longtube headers and other longtube header brands?
Would anyone else like to share some more sound clips?

I'm running STAINLESS WORKS CA10CB Chambered Turbo Cat Back Exaust on my vert. Sorry no sound clips but I can tell you that it sounds great.
