Pfadt Springs - V6 vs V8

so i noticed on Pfadt's website there are 2 different part numbers for their drop springs. one for the v6 and the other for the v8. i bought my springs before they had 2 different part numbers and i have a v6. whats the difference now? did i install springs not intended for the v6? im asking because i had a problem with BMR selling me 1.4" drop springs that werent intended for the v6, but nowhere did they state this on their site (or Apex's site) until a few weeks after i installed them. i just dont want to go through that headache again

Hey there fgraciano1980, the difference between V6 and V8 springs, was to accomodate a slight change made by GM in the damping and suspension travel of the NEW V6 suspension. As a result, V6 owners now have specific springs matched to newer V6 dampers. If your install went great, which I am assuming it did since you didn't mention any problems, then do not fear because you have the original GM V6 suspension, and therefore have the correct springs installed!

Let me know if you have any more questions!

If the new v6 springs were designed to accomadate the new v6 suspension, does that mean your v6 springs are out of tune sort to say for older v6 owners?
