Wow Scott, that is a rare, limited and numbered Greenlight GREEN MACHINE! Every run they do a small percentage (around 2%) that get done special. Big with collectors! (Search Greenlight Green Machine on ebay for more examples). I have 2008 convertible Corvette pace car #05.

OK a few things:

I stand corrected, only two coupes have been spotted #52 and #53. Might of imagined seeing three.

The only "official" Indy Editions are the 24 Red coupes.

The three track used pace cars, amber tail lights and strobed, do not have the 2011 logo on the fender or the CAMARO windshield banner. Seems all the Festival cars do have the sticker and the windshield banner. Interesting that some of the Festivals have the red "SS" emblem on the back and some do not.

Oh and Thanks for the compliment, nowhere near the nicest there but it's all I've got.

OK - let me say this first so everyone knows I'm not a Prius-loving tree-hugger. I love all these makes and models of pace cars; and there is something I like about each one of these actual pace cars.

That said- I just dont think pace cars look that cool. In alot of ways it seems like no creativity was applied to any of them other than plain lettering on the sides and bad color combos...

I DO appreciate the heritage, the tradition, and the patriotism behind the 500 and what the pace cars represent to the race and to our country. But man, some are hard to swallow. In short, I won't be buying a pace car in my lifetime.

That aside, seeing all of them together at the 100th running is really sweet and the photos are well worth looking at all of them.

Last, concerning the pic with the Bosch car; I hope that was a booth where you could get three swings for a dollar on that car.MAN did those people make the LLT v6 ECU hard to crack.

BTW just an FYI. I noticed a common error in the description on the main page. This is not the 100th "running" of the Indy 500. This is the 95th running and the 100 year anniversary of the first 500 mile race in 1911. The race was not run during WWI (1917,1918) and during in WWII (1942-1945). The 100th running will be in 2016. The first race, not 500 miles, was in 1909, so the "Centennial" era of 2009 to 2011 celebrates 100 years since the first race and 100 years since the first 500 mile race. Sorry to nit-pick.

It is too bad that the dealer Pace Cars don't have the fender decals. I would like to see how to order them.

When I read what you wrote I realized I made the error in my description so I just changed it to anniversary. I should have known better. I also noticed it the other day when Tony Kanaan said it in an interview.

I looked in the parts catalog today,they list all the decals EXCEPT the fender and "CAMARO" windshield decals,so I guess they are exclusive to the track festival cars :(

What are the part #'s for the decals? I asked my parts guy to look for them and he couldn't find them.

Couple of tid-bits on the coupes, even though some of this has already been shared.

There are two coupes, #52 & #53 and are both automatic regular production Camaros with inferno orange interior with orange door panels (not white). These two cars where pulled from dealership stock within Indy and have had door, fender and windsheild decals installed. From what I understand these two cars were requested by Indiana State Police (they are assigned festival cars every year) as they did not want convertibles.

Which ones do you want part numbers for? For right now they do not list part numbers for the "OFFICIAL PACE CAR" door decals (They show them,they just do not give a part number) They will probably list part numbers after my next catalog update next month.
