Just got back from picking up the Nitto555R DR's, now all i need is my car to mount them on.

So, left my car at the dealer to get my transmission rebuilt, and the clutch replaced... Luckily they reserved a Cadillac for me

Not the nicest color, but it'll do

By the way, Billy.... The trans guy was using your old SS this past weekend, and he told me that they'll be swapping out the clutch with the latest revision too...

Last week I introduced my dog and the reason why Stella stay's home on fridays.

Transmission has a slight grind from 1st to 2nd.... Also 2nd to 3rd.... GM has revised the clutch assembly to allow more travel, which in turn helps the clutch properly disengage. The internals on the tranny have also been updated with revised parts to try and eliminate the grind ( crosses fingers )... We'll see soon enough

Mine grinds 1st to 2nd as well....it does not do it often, and I have never experienced it going from 2nd to 3rd. I have a dilemma, I am putting the headers on very soon and going to reflash the ecu, they definately wont touch the tranny after I do that right? Let me know if you notice a BIG difference after the work is done if you do then I might postpone the mods til I get this issue resolved also. Thanks!

Hi Nick,

We'll know soon enough, just hold on a couple of days, I'll give an update

I went in today to see the progress, and they had just dropped my tranny. The team leader of there is a really cool guy ( CAMARO GUY ), so I feel comfortable with him working on it.

I'll also reply to your P.M. with some more details.... I'll keep it quiet on the forum until the final outcome
