modded camaro vs stock 2010 mustang gt

How do you guys think my 6 banger with mods listed below would hang with a stock 2010 GT? *Puts on a flame suit*

Lose the 21s and you will win. You can scoop up some 18 inch x<26 pound rims on ebay for about $500.

I also agree on the 21" rims slowing you down...but without it should be a good race.

There is a member here with a V6 manual and only a CAI, says by 100 MPH he was only one car length back from an 06 GT auto. The 2010 GT will be a bit faster than an 06 I'd say, and if its a manual, then even more so, but that should give you an idea of what the car can be capable of.

If you get a chance to run him (on the track) then I say give it a go and let us know how it goes...as always the launch is half the battle.

that would be a good race bro!!

I know on first hand experience an SS with just Intake and Cat Back can take out a '10 GT with Full exhaust Headers/Cat Back and CAI.

Not well at all, even without the rims you're gonna get dusted pretty good.

If the '10 GT is stock I think he has a chnace of taking it out.

The 6's are faster than you think they are.

I'd give the edge to the Mustang, but not that big of one

As mentioned, those 21" wheels are going to cost you at least .2 in the 1/4 mile. So you're probably not much faster than a stock V6 Camaro with those wheels on your car.

If you're into performance, you'll want to ditch those wheels for some light weight 18" or 20" wheels.

Bigger wheels really do slow a car down.

I doubt the wheels make that much of a difference that even with all those mods I would be as fast as stock.

I can't believe I'm saying this but if the GT is an auto, you stand a very very good chance of beating him. A manual GT will get you for sure but I'm still not seeing that it will be a run away victory. Race him and post video....
