Man, this is like Christmas morning. What a surprise!
 I know, I know it may sound a little strange, but last night, I had visions of robots rolling around on their little wheels bolting the LS3 to its mounts, spraying Dragon Rider SS with nice even coats of VR wrapped by the hard working QC team inspecting the interior just after the leak test. LOL I had no idea I was psychic.  If I could keep that state of mind, I might add to the mod fund! LOL You are right: it is a great start to the Memorial Day weekend! What a birthday! Down here in these mountains, this would be the time to break out the shine. To top it off, we're heading down to the G 15 F-body gathering in Atlanta this afternoon to check out more 5th gen's in real time! Thank you, thank you, thank you, Becky! Remembering Our Soldiers
You are right about that OP. If it were not for those who fought and died, we wouldn't be able to enjoy these weekend activities we like to play at. We all need to keep them in our thoughts and prayers especially this Memorial Day.

The G 15 F-body gathering was tremendous.
We there pretty early on on Friday afternoon as cars were coming in and it was not yet populated with cars as I am sure it must have been today. No pics, but I can tell ya there were a lot of absolutely beautiful Gen 5's with lots of mods to give a neophyte like me more ideas than I've got the wallet to afford. Also some Gen 5's with serious power plants. Boy, I had no idea what is out there. Oracle lighting was there as well as Vengeance Racing out of Cumming, Ga. + tons of F-body cars that were just really sharp. To me, one of the nicest Gen 5 and perhaps most original was DianeOkie's 2LT.  I don't know if there are any pics of her car in its current state on the forum, but she has done a really nice job on it.Back home today, my dealer said this morning the est. delivery date for the Dragon Rider SS is 6/10/11. Hope he's right; can't wait; in the meantime ...  Tracking the order through all the stages has been a lot of fun and has actually made the waiting go by a lot faster! Hetfield, you called it right on the money! Plus, with the VIN # in hand, I closed on the loan (ended up being 4.09% through Ally) and the purchase this morning, thanks to my hardworking dealer.
 I had no idea it was possible to do that so quick---but you called that one too!  Now for the wait for delivery. Have a good Memorial Day Weekend up there in Wildcat country! Quote:

You got it right. Wildcat country! Lol. Except Theres a few Cardinals fans since I live in Louisville.
My car is somewhere in town. I called and checked the railcar. A good week too, its too hot to not have air conditioning. 94 degrees today. I hope today or tomorrow are the last days I swelter.
