At your power level, the centri works more efficiently. I hope you are saving up the dollars for that engine replacement at that power level. 700 rwhp on a stock bottom end is just on borrowed time.

Account suspended for the OP? Assuming about 450rwhp (what a blower cam and bolt ons usually make on an LS3 n/a), getting 695 on 7psi means he's getting an extra 35 hp for every pound of boost. That's pretty damn special. Most belt driven superchargers add about 20-25 hp per psi. That's so special, it's almost unbelievable.

I think a 700 rwhp/650rwtq procharger would lose to an equally equipped...tire/wheel/stall.......550 rwhp/510 rwtq maggie....we are talking both automatics here just to keep things on the same page.
When people say that prochargers are more efficient....yes....at top end they are....but until around 4000 rpms they are not.People get confused by this all the time. A 6.5 psi 550 rwhp maggie can and has gotten an 11.02 1/4 mile......if you look at a 7 psi 700 rwhp procharger.....your first thought is....damn...thats going to get in the mid 10s or heck....maybe close to 9s. Now...thats completely wrong. I'd be surprised if a 700 rwhp procharger could get to 10.99....let alone what Supercharged SS's car which now has somewhere around 700 rwhp......and got a 10.19 with 650 rwhp (can't remember exactly). Its all about torque down low..... Now...if you start to go up the psi ladder.....and say get to 15 psi...and then compare the two....yes, the procharger will even have a wider maximum power edge......its only after the roots style charger ends up getting too much power down low to get an effective 0-60 foot time does the Procharger really shine.......now...it seems to me that this doesn't happen til after 15 psi sometime.....hard to say where exactly....regardless, in most areas....city or town, most of the time even pushing it is going to be at or below 4000 rpms....so its not as useful as people would think in most applications off the track.

As far as I'm concerned; When you get past 500hp., all that low down TQ becomes pretty useless because tires can't stick to the ground. I had 550rwhp. before the SC, and I spun my tires anytime I wanted especially when trying to get off the line. Having an extra 50-75lbs. tq, isn't going to change anything at all once you have these high numbers, too much TQ too soon most likely does less good, than an even increase of TQ throughout the RPM range.

I'm sure your car is still a blast to drive....either way maggie/procharger....kicks but. I think you will see the difference if you decide to go to the track...or have a friendly race with your friend 69 rebel. I predict Rebel the victor The biggest advantage for a Procharger over a maggie would be when you are over 15 psi and have the F-1R? model that Jason has.

A few key items; At lower RPM's the TQ#'s are fairly comparable to the Maggies, at higher rpms. the TQ#'s stay on an even plateau from around 4400rpm. @ 625lbtq., and HP#'s @ 730rwhp. continue to increase @ 6200rpm.
