Ok, I was reviewing my videos from the track the other night and I noticed something different than my others.

I am seeing that when I release the clutch my car does get traction with the front end lifting (as normal anyways), but it seems to bog out and then the front comes down. It almost looks like my engine is not keeping up with what I have on the car for tires.

I'll post up the videos tonight so you can see what I'm talking about. I'm just wondering if I need to give the car more throttle before I release the clutch. I'm guessing this would explain my poor 60' times.
Hi Will,

You need to come off the line at a higher RPM. I would try about 500 RPM higher and then giving it more gas quicker. By the way, when I started racing, the strip was dirt. Asphalt was not invented yet.

Hmm... I'm not sure that I want to be around you unless there are jail bars. Nice drive around Inde though. I'll just make sure you are way out front or way behind so I can avoid the potential carnage.

Here's the video of my starting mistakes Glen. I didn't notice it until now, but you can kind of see my tach. I know I wasn't giving enough throttle at the start...I guess I need to work on that. Plus you can see on the last video I missed 2nd gear, and that gave the race to Jim.

Hey Will. From what I can see, you do need to leave at a higher RPM, even if you spin the tires "a little". Spinning will at lease keep the RPM'S up whereas a bog will drag the RPM'S down and then you spend precious tenths of a second getting them back up again. Next TnT is Friday, June 10th.

Yes, and honestly it's really no improvement with my mods. My car is at the point where I would damage the computer or drive train some how if I used it.

so before i go on an endless search in these forums...

the keyfob....yeah today I was having hiccups...sometimes my car wouldnt arm...usually i reclose the doors or something and im ok...

now, while at Park Place...car wouldnt arm at first - got it to lock and arm after some fiddling...I come out of the mall...car wont unlock using the keyfob...so I unlock the door with the key, not button...of course alarm starts going off...keyfob not disarming....i turn it over and the alarm stops....but now car wont start...battery is ok...all light and dash are ok, radio and everything is bright and i can hear the fuel pump. I try it like 6 times...nothing...so with my phone I search the internet...blah blah maybe bad starter cable or dead cell in battery...i try it again, and it turns over and starts...I go home..then after a few hours, i go out to go to the grocery store...bam...no start...i figure it has something to do with the keyfob...I find my spare...turns right over...i shut it off, it turns over with my original key...when driving away I notice my security light is illuminated....i get tot the store park, shop - come back out...unlock the car with original fob...no alarm...but no start...i immediately use other key and bam...it starts...

so...battery inside keyfob doing this? but i guess that alarm thing was a hiccup?

car and keyfob are fine...no issues past that day...I think the keyfob was just overheating or i got some sweat in it...in which causes a security system problem which in turn got reset with the 2nd fob.
