Thanks, cant wait to toast some rubber! It has been building up since March.....poor tires.
Cool! Cant wait to see how yours turns out! You know the waiting part is what I hate the most.....but it is impossible to agrue with the results.

I just wanted to let everyone know that I sat in a CTS-V this weekend and my wife has talked me into getting one. We will be starting a family this next year and need a little more room. The bad part is that I will be getting rid of the Camaro to make room in the garage. This car has been awesome and I will miss it ALOT!! However - when I do pick up a V - it will be going to LPE for their upgrades. You guys and gals have always been good to talk to and hang out with and I hope we can all stay in touch. I have put an add up in the "for sale" page just to see if anyone on the site would be interested. We will see how things go and hopefully my car can go to a good home

Aw..Man! You should keep it for a fun weekend warrior! But I understand priorities, and life has a way of changing things. I do hope you sneak on the forum to fill us in everyonce in a while....don't pull a Windy on us and dissapear!
You will love the CTSV, my wife really likes hers, dont tell her but I like it too. LPE will really set that car off and turn it into a real civilized beast!
Congrats on the next step in life with the family! I can't imagine my life without my two miracles, they just seem to complete me.

It is good to hear that your wife likes hers. It will be hard to go from my car to something a little less powerful, so I may have to just do the LPE 700 on the V. I will definitely keep in touch and be on the site. It really all depends on what I can sell my car for also

It is geared a little longer than even the stock Camaro, not quite the low end grunt, but it will fly! The ride quality is also amazing, and more comfortable for a daily driver by far. You have made a very wise choice!
Only problem is now you will have to fight with your wife over who gets to drive it!

The wait is hard, I think about another month until I get her back, I already have a little grin just thinking of the results. What you guys think 293 gears? Yes or no?

2.93? Man that seems way too high to me, 3.73 to 3.90 I think would be a better choice.

I would think you want a 3.73 rear gear...

that would be a perfect gear ratio for the street.

You will probably love it for the street and road course, on the 1/4 mile strip traction is going to be tough with your stroked torque monster. 2010 has the 3.90's and she loves them.
