I wish GM didnt have to tend to everyone and would have made the car what it should be....ONLY a v8....its turning into the mustang....1000000 v6's rolling around with a few v8's here and there......

But dude it is a 300hp v6... Come on.. Theres only like... every other v6 that has 300hp nowadays.

I used to go to car meets with my dad as a kid and whenever I saw a Mustang or Camaro I always just thought they all had V8s and were fast. The first time I saw a Mustang with no 5.0 badge I thought it's badge had fallen off and it needed a new one.

When I bought mine I was thinking this is the kind of high-tech motors we'll be seeing in the future. I'm getting a head start learning to mod a DI VVT engine before GM introduces a 4.9L version. How many cars come from the factory with ~100% VE and cost what a LS/LT does? Then through in the looks of a Camaro and you have a real winner.

My Acura RL comes stock with 295hp and 265 torque and its AWD and weighs the same as the camaro. But don't tell these kids that... they got the only 300hp v6 out there.

GM probably wanted to market the V6 Camaros to adults - those who don't equate hp to penis size.

Not at all...sorry that I decided to be a home owner, and get married, and own a dirtbike, and own a seperate vehicle, and pay for college, and build my own custom PC and still be able to save up a good amount of money per month.....rather than own an SS.

I have no problems with my car. When with simple bolt ons and a tune you can get a 350 HP / 300 TQ V6 for 7 - 10 grand less (than a comparable equipped SS) .....thats fine by me.
