Cuz, we wanna see what this little engine can do. We've already shown that with basic mods you can get it to do an easy 340 to 350 HP with around 300 to 310 TQ and hit mid 13s.

We've shown that with a shot of NOS and some tires you can hit 11's,

Now we're discovering that with an E85 tune (and other basic mods) we may be able to hit 300 or more horse at the wheels.

We are just poking around to see what we can do. Is every V6 owner going to want to do that. Hell no! The vast majority won't touch the car, but we do cause we enjoy it.

Any car guy should understand that.

OK..my lunch is over Im out lol.

why not? I don't get the mindset. Several V6 guys are in 13's - a couple in low 12 - high 11's. I don't remember seeing V8 requirement at the track.

Because we can! Look a GNX owner in the face and say that and tell me how long it takes them to quit laughing.

I'd love to see a twin turbo V6 factory stock Camaro in the future...built right it would lay waste to the SS cars of today.
I think we should all be happy that the LLT has worked out so well for GM. They took a risk developing it and it will now pay off in much more powerful V8s with enough fuel effeciency to help them meet the new CAFE standards AND still produce lots of power. We don't have that terrible decade between the end of the muscle car era and the beginning of the modern muscle era (Grand National FTW) when everything was weak sauce. We all win!

Get it while you can now kiddies. 300 HP will be THE hp number to reach in a few years.

By the time gas prices are manipulated to force car companies to build cars the government wants, the ZL1 and Z28 (perhaps) and SS will be things of yesteryear. People already thought at one time they'd build muscular cars forever. Look how that turned out.

GM won't build that TT V6 unless they started putting supercharged V10's in the SS Camaro. Nothing would make sense from a business standpoint were that to happen lol. Ford learned that with the SVO, there's a reason why those little fox bodies are rare. It's totally not for me but I can see where you V6 guys are coming from. MOST of you bought a V6, for whatever reason, and naturally you fell in love with the car. It doesn't take long until you start to realize that it's not as fast as one would hope that a 312 hp car would be and the performance mods begin. I seriously doubt many V6 owners bought that car and planned to mod it out to beat Vettes lol...

LoL! The V6 camaro cannot even come close to being compared to a GTR.......shouldnt even be in the same sentence. The GTR is made to be top of the line, FAST.....The 6 Camaro....is made to be the affordable, scaled down version of the v8.....So everyone can say...Hey I have a new camaro.....while it takes away from what the camaro really is.....(this is my oponion, dont have to like it)

Read the 4th page of this article. Our V6s would beat a '69 SS 396 (375hp solid lifter version) in the quarter mile. I tell everyone the V6 is yesterday's 350 and the LS3 is yesterday's big block:

He didn't compare the two. He quoted someone who said why race any v6. The GTR is a V6 most of us would love to take to the track!
