Automotive hormone syndrome...

Good grief - I'll explain this whole cycle chronologically: It all starts with the inferiority complex.

Then:

Once this thread hits approx. page 20, someone will start a new thread asking if SS folks consider themselves more elite than LLT folks. (Social standing complex)

Once that hits 15-20 pages, someone else will post a thread asking why you went with a '6 instead of an '8 (or vice versa). (Positive reinforcement complex)

Then we'll see a thread about how the V6 is more powerful than a previous generation V8 Camaro, is loved to bits, and how it gets better fuel mileage to boot. (Justification complex)

Then someone will get snubbed by a Ford or Dodge because their Camaro doesn't have 8 cylinders. Then you'll find yourself right back here. (Inferiority complex)

OR

You can just get past all these ridiculous labels and enjoy everything about your car like the day you brought it home! Who cares what other people think about your car?! Did everyone else spend your money to get you a V6 Camaro? I'm guessing the general public wouldn't care to ask what's under the hood if it didn't command attention even while sitting still.

no, the lower grill area is different. Either facia looks good. I prefer mail slot less

Like I was saying, it's the attitude. Yes, you acted all high and mighty, but tried to "soften" it, apparently, with the if you are happy with your purchase that is all that should matter.

Guess what? That doesn't cancel the first long paragraphs of high and mighty.

I personally don't understand all the nastiness, and "we're so much better than you are because we're v8s vs your v6" attitude. It's like listening to guys on a elementary school playground!

I have three v8s in my garage, maybe I should start throwing out some serious attitude! Nah...not worth it.

I got my V6y cuz if it was a V8, my husband would want to drive it more than the V8 he has cuz mine is a ragtop. Plus, I don't need to go THAT fast... I just need to go fast enough to get ahead of the azzholes on the road, and that I can do quite easily.

And the only thing I ever get asked -so far - is it a 5-speed and how much power you got under that hood.

I get to say nope - its a 6-speed - and I got 312 horses..... - in my book, both are every bit as impressive as if I said it was a V8.
