Its cool if its done correctly. many people go over board and make it look really ghetto.

IMO black rims on a black car are over rated.

Yes, it does look good on MOST vehicles, but not when 7 out of 10 at an intersection are also blacked out.

Honestly. Here in Alabama we must be behind the times. I have seen maybe 2 blacked out cars of any make or model. Just dont' see them except for one or two at a car show every once in a while.

Where are you guys at to see so many?

I'm still not a big fan. Just looks cheap to me.

In AZ blacking cars out is fairly common. When I say "fairly common" I mean you might see 4 or 5 per day depending on how much driving you do. Most of the vehicles that are blacked out here are SUVs and trucks. They are also commonly debadged.

And Alabama being behind the times?

That's funny because here in silicon valley...black is the least and white and silver is the most driven car you see around. People here dont like the high upkeep on a black car I guess

Well, can't find a good wheel and tire shop here either. Nor a performance shop. Ya, I'd say we are in the stone ages for this stuff.

I'm not a fan of it, especially if the rims are also black. I gotta have some contrast, all black just isn't my thing....But I will say, ChvyBoss' looks damn good in that pic...
