Is this normal for the 6.2L? It's not a terrible shake, but it's not smooth. It noticeably shakes every 2-3 seconds. Wanted to check others' experiences to see if normal before taking it to dealer. Thx all!
If you would like I could forward this question on to one of my internal resources to check and make sure this is normal for the vehicle. Just send me your name and VIN and I should be able to get an answer back to you soon. I hope these suggestions here helped to answer your question.

I'll throw my 2 in. While I agree there might be some cam lope to it, I did a fuse pull last weekend on my '11 2SS M6 and it smoothed out the idle significantly. MUCH smoother at idle. Dealer sent me on my way with a full tank of regular.

Try to fuse pull on #5 and #20 overnight and see if it smooths out.

I have 1456 miles on mine as of today.

I must be the only person in the world that wishes my car had more cam lope, so much to the point where it would sound like it was gurgling @ idle... oh well :P but even though I know it's normal, I guess you can always take it to the dealer and have them tell you the same thing.

Mine does shake a bit when idling sometimes. It does not feel like cam lope. It isnt rhythmic at all. It is more like intermittent shudder. Almost like every now and then a cylinder doesnt fire. It also doesnt always do this.

I guess mine is different because it regularly shakes a tiny bit every 2-3 seconds as described above.

Mine shake a little on cold start.

I use the shake as a timer for when it's OK to drive. I like to let the oil getting around a bit. It's more fun to use the shake than to count, thousand 1, thousand 2. etc.
