They do offer a carbon fiber version of the intake...

yes, which i do and would like, but it requires a tune which voids my warranty. not ready for that yet.

Gotcha. You could always smooth and paint the plastic tube or have it hydro-dipped. It seems like you are going to have to go custom to dress up that intake. Other brands, such as the Roto-fab, offer more cosmetic options without requiring tuning...

yeah thats what i was thinking. Just checking to see if there are any options i'm missing. i like the carbon fiber look, so the hydro-carbon may be my route. think having it hydro-carboned would effect its performance in any way?

Halltech is easy to paint
Clean the tube, spray with adhesion promoter, and color of your choice. Should run you about $20

The hydro-dipped carbon fiber shouldn't affect the performance at all since it's a graphic applied to the outside of the tube.

Probably not what you're looking for but I used a yellow paint pen and painted my Halltech.

I painted my Halltech yellow as well. Very nice touch and not too overstated.

I ordered mine from Katech and had them paint it....Obviously it would cost more but it's worth it IMO
