When could i be getting my car???? - Camaro5 Chevy Camaro Forum / Camaro ZL1, SS and V6 Forums

K so here is the deal i have no clue now when i could be getting my camaro because i didnt think it would be that late but i talked to my dealer today and they only get 2 allocations but im number 4 on the waiting list for my v6 IBM, but today my dealer said it is a good chance that i wont have my car till mid or late fall?????? is this possible???? please tell me no any help would be great thanks

Anything is possible. I'm not as knowledgeable as everyone else on here, but the way I understand it, if your dealer goes over their initial allotment, those additional cars wont be around until about September... Nobody really knows for sure though..

RELAX!! We have all waited years for this car, its amazing, dont get stressed at the last hurdle. We KNOW its being built, we KNOW its a go, relax, its on its way to you!!

If you have preordered then it sounds like you could have your Camaro by April - August. It also depends if you have CGM. Late fall is pushing it.

I am #16 out of 20 allocations and was told that I can expect mine by May 1st. Its all speculation at this point but it helps to have a good dealer.

If you're over their guide number, you'll get a quarter 4 car (October or later)

This is good news I guess for the dealerships here that don't take preorders yet still ordered some with a 25k mark up and sit them out there on the lot. I mean its only taken forever and 4 years to get this car out. I just hope those dealerships let me test drive since I want to do that before making a choice of 370z or order a SS and wait 6 months. The GXP handling just didn't do it for me sadly.

If the G8 GXP handling didn't "do it for you", don't expect much more from the Camaro IMO...

Can anyone take a stab as to when I will receive my camaro. I am #1 at my dealership, actually I am the only one out of three allocations. I ordered 11-10-09 2ss red jewel blk rally stripes. I know it's only 4 days from know to find out more from my dealership, but I just like to know NOOOwwww. Thank you to all.

I'm #12 of 25 an i was told the latest early-mid may as well and my dealer was able to put through 6 orders for the march build (but he was also assumeing the constraint of the V6 is off by March 16th, or shortly there after)

How did your dealer get 6 for March when he only has 25 total? Are you sure he didn't get 6 in the March consensus for April build? That makes much more sense.
