I would like to thank Roberts Custom Exhaust and T & T Performance for helping me obtain this warning from the event organizers.

Same here Smart Line! I had a great time hanging with you and Kate. Thank for saving me a spot.

Rumblbe, it was nice meeting you. You have a great sounding car. Thanks for demo'ing the exhaust and for the entertainment from the warning. I just do not understand why the guy was not running up to everyone reving the engine. I too had Roberts do my exhaust work before my last change. He does great work.

Maybe we can put together an oldies but goodies theme. The eye candy (young ladies) was good , (most likely couldn't order anything more than a Shirley temple at the bar), but the crowd is young and mostly imports (by the looks).

Ok, I've been by twice now to this gathering. I gave it a 2nd shot because I thought the first was possibly a fluke. Both times...not good. Besides the hand full of nice rides there were mostly high school kids hanging out sitting on their P.O.S. ricers IMO.

PS. For those of you that are lowered, you are going to rub hard on the massive speed bumps in the parking lot. I gave it a shot Ernie, but I'm not going back! Stick to going to Bruester's on Saturday's in Stafford.

I didn't see you there tonight if you came by after 8. Bruster's is ok but it's be the same exact cars for the last 3 years, and is the exact opposite problem with a bunch of older guys. lol Guess there needs to be a meet that can bridge that gap. I'll probably just bounce back and forth between the two.

I agree...

I will pop in from time to time. I was hoping I would have seen some old people out there. I didn't. I did have a good time talking to people, and it is cool to see some different cars. I was there from about 8 to 10. I think it would be better if we coordinate and have groups go out and meet. Then we can have the creature comforts we want.

A well rounded meet is good. There is Va BBQ on Friday nights, Brusters on Saturday night, and QS&L on Saturday nights. Although Brusters is the same cars, they are organized and there are people of all ages. The rides are a bit more refined and drop more power. If a person is to bring their wheels, it is not ussually something that is a POS. If so, they park on the other side and walk the show.

I like the more organized, but my reason for going to QS&L is more for show and conversation, not competition. Also, I get to eat, and their wings are off the hook.
