Man, that sucks about the ticket, I always go and talk to the DA and have it reduced to failure to obey a traffice device, pay the fine and maybe 2 points which isn't chargeable on your insurance the first time. I even did that when I got 108 in a 55 on my bike, got it dropped to 71 by the cop and then talked to the DA and poof failure to obey, lol, I thought I was gonna burst into flames after that one

Glad you guys all had fun! Andy was upset he couldn't go- but we had so much to do to get ready for Oshawa- still do actually... Speaking of which I wish Andy would be as meticulous cleaning inside the house like the car- he had each tire off cleaning every inch underneath the car- the windmill/Glen was not kind to the wheel wells the last time, we clay bared the car, needs waxing yet, worked on it for almost 6 hours, and counting!

3CamarosonHand,
Funny you mention clay bar. That's my plan Monday & Tuesday.Anyway my main question. Do you think we should make a "What you should bring to Oshawa list?Example;Radios for the trip up,Do we bring chairs or do they have them there while we are next to our cars?Stuff like that would be nice for the members to know.
Another thought,Does anyone have a group photo that has most of the members?Enlarge it,have us all sign it and give it the Oshawa workers when we arrive there? What do you think?Just need to have the picture.Ok now back to wax on, wax off.

Yes, I think Andy plans on doing a list- he is currently shearing alpacas...but yes radios, yes chairs- we are even bringing both canopies I think, sunscreen, bug spray, ALCOHOL, multi layers- last year even in August it got chilly nights for sure....sweatshirts, jackets, etc. Of course your car detailing supplies AT FULL SUPPLY- did not see a Walmart nearby so bring all you need THINK OF THIS AS A GIANT CAR SHOW WEEKEND and PARTY

I guess the BBOMG dinner with be "office casual" the guys can wear a nice shirt, jeans, etc. and the gals are wearing a nice shirt, jeans, sandals, etc. This was decided by the majority on BBOMG Facebook and the "gals only" Facebook The rest of the time will be what you would normally wear to a car show, etc.

***To the ladies- there are hairdryers, and an ironing board/iron, AND A FRIDGE in the room*** It sounds like they have us moving fastly on Friday and maybe the rest of the weekend- Andy and I slept in and had breakfast in our room or brought it with us on the go- danishes, muffins, etc. that would transport. Also, we stocked up on water, and "show" drinks and brought a small cooler- we brought all this with us and it worked out well. There is a buffet and good restaurant in the hotel but we found unless we got up early it took awhile.....they had lunch at Nurse Chevy for us and I"m sure they'll have some type of meal for us at the tour or parking lot vendors. ***

YOU MUST HAVE CLOSED TOED SHOES FOR THE TOUR- sneakers, shoes, etc.- no sandals....

Anything that you want signed by builders, big wigs, etc......there might be many opportunities to do this!

As far as the picture- that is a nice idea....we have a few choices that come to mind with many members present- the Thatcher Park line up with everyone by their cars, Watkins Glen- MClark10 has a nice picture maybe he could copy? Lets think on that.....ideas, ideas?

Oh, by the way....the clay bar is so awesome- my new obsession...works great on car fresh from a wash instead of using the detail cleaner too- we just rinse it and wrap it in saran wrap and its good to go the next time with some kneading.....takes out scratches, helps on swirls and any dirt grime build up....the best thing!

Yah the cop wouldn't do anything but delay the court date, the DA dropped it 10 but I asked if he could do any better he said at 10 it was 6pts but at 11 mph dropped it was only 4 pts ,that was the best I could do with out a layer and that was 500.00 retainer .So I took the 4 pts and slowed down for aday. then later that week I got stopped 2 more days in a row in my winter car with a 10 day inspection I still had 2 days to go and told the cop thay I get out at 7 see ya tomarrow i'm still legal.then on sat. I was bringing my son home from atv riding and got pulled over to check seat belts they let us go. 4 times is less than 7 days and in every thing I own not just a green camaro . tomarrow is another day. what type dector should I buy????

I have the track photographer one from the Glen run last fall. I might be able to blow it up to 11x17, print it out on the color plotter at work, and put it in a poster frame after we sign it. Let me know soon
