This is tragic news for GM. It just shows how the Ford Mustang has entered the psyche of your average Joe/ Joanna.

GM need to get some more adverts into circulation, if not to sell cars, at least to educate the ignorant masses.

I thought this was funny enough to share.
I was at a party today and someone yelled, “who owns the Challenger.” When no one answered her, she then said, “who owns the Chevy sports car.” I said, “I own the Camaro.” She then said, “why would you put Chevy symbols on your Camaro?” I gave her the look of death (or that is what I am told by my friend). I said really nasty, “That is a CHEVROLET CAMARO.” I got a, “OHHHHHHHH, they make those too, I figured when I saw the Chevy symbol it was the Challenger.“ At least the stupid lady didn’t call it a Ford. Some people are just clueless.

I see where people think it might be a Challenger...side profiles look similar at FIRST glance.

I see where people assume it would be a new Corvette...quad taillights have been a signature feature of that car since its' introduction.

But a Mustang...how bad has the nation's vision become lately? They look NOTHING alike.

I never had these comments, but people have said to me that they didn't expect someone like ME to be coming out of the car. Like I'd be more in place in an import or something.

Sorry, but I am partial to GM.

I wasnt into car until about 3 years ago but i was NEVER that oblivious about make and models.
