MBRP Mufflers

Ok, I think the MBRP exhaust sounds sick. Personally I think they are way mild as just a cat back. Add headers and they are cool. I am interested in buying just mufflers and not an entire cat back. Anybody know if they sale just the mufflers? I couldnt find them on the site.

Nope. I think axle backs are a PITA to install anyways. It's easier to just take the whole OEM exhaust out and put the plug and play catback on. I have the entire MBRP catback and love it. I agree it's not as loud as I would like, but the tone is unbeatable IMO. If I ever get headers I think that will make it perfect.

It sounds awesome on my turbo Camaro. Also, it is one of the easiest exhaust systems I've ever installed. Get the entire system, you won't be disappointed.

Be careful of swapping mufflers. Although its a cheap alternative to get a nice sound, it often results in drone. When these companies make their catback systems they take a lot things in consideration. I've even had drone problems with swapping Corsa mufflers onto cars. Just get a deal from us on the MBRP catback. We Camaro5 discount those pretty well.

If you want an aggresive axleback, go with like a Borla Atak or something. MBRP does not do axlebacks.

I have the MBRP exhaust on my L99 and I think it is awsome. It is a very nice low rumble at light throttle. Get on it and get the rpm up over 3 and it sounds fantastic. AFM is now kind of a pain, but I drive 95% of the time in manual mode. I am getting Kooks headers installed on July 5th and will let you know how it sounds then.

Cool Thx for the info guys. I am planning on Texas speed long tubes with their catless x pipe that's why I was lookin for just the mufflers. I have a couple buddies with long tubes and borla atak, its cool but definetley not the sound I'm goin after.

I have MBRP with SOLO high flow converters. Sounds good and sometimes sounds like it has a more aggressive cam. No "check engine light" and still have the warranty. AFM is annoying but tune voids warranty. If you do not care about the warranty, get headers and a tune.

The catless connection pipes and X pipes are different. If you get the Long tubes with catless connections they will hook directly up to the MBRP X pipe.
