I'm sure most of you probably hand wash your cars, but for those of you that don't, do you have any recommendations for car washes/detailing that do a good job? I've taken mine to Octopus near 22nd/Kolb a few times, and I don't feel they do a good enough job for what it costs. Also for those that wash the car themselves, any recommendations on products to use as far as soap, wax, and towels? Thanks!

Jax Wax or Zaino products for me. And NO ONE touches my car except me. They re-use those towels from car to car which can easily scratch your paint. I love detailing my car - makes me fall in love with it again every time! :-)

thats where I go. I have them do the handwash...they even have razorbladed the numbers off my glass from after the race - because I have the "other" polish, lol. They go as far as armoralling the rock guard in the front and the rear exhaust valance - plus the interior...they use the air compressor all around the car to get most/all of the water. I am usually there an hour when they do my car...I dont know why you would get sub-par service.

I have tried Mo's - they were pretty good too.

Hand wash and JAX Wax for me. I set up my garage so I can wash the cars inside with all the doors open. I enjoy getting up early and spending half the morning detailing the cars. One less to do since my wife's accident.

Wow - 2 years and 308 Members - You Rock Arizona!!

Ryan & Denise and Dar & I can't thank you enough for your support! We are truly "The Premier Camaoro Club of the Southwest" thanks to you!! So let's party like we stole it!

This is your personal invitation:

Where: Dave & Busters - 2000 E. Rio Salado Pkwy. Tempe Az. 85281
When: Sat. June 18th, 2011
Time: 4:00pm until 7:00pm

Why: Because we ROCK!!

We would love to have you come and join us for a great evening of food, fun and friendship. Over the last 2 years we have made some incredible friends and seen some amazing cars rise from stock to "sick". Come and join us for a great night of fun, and help us move to Year 3!

Dave & Buster's did an incredible last minute party for us last year, and they are VERY excited to have us back again. We will be upstairs again this year, with some very good food, a cash bar, and a great view of our cars in the parking lot!

This is a RSVP event - if you are not on the list, we can not admit you -sorry, but we MUST have a head count ASAP!! I'm sure you understand!

We are asking some of our favorite vendors to help us with some door prizes, and we will be working with Wounded Warriors as a charity sponsor. We will be asking some of you to help us with the event - several offers already, we will be in touch!

I will post several blank threads to be filled in as we approach the date, but PLEASE sign up now - we need to get a head count ASAP!

PLEASE TELL US HOW MANY WILL BE ATTENDING WHEN YOU REPLY!!
... and while we are a Family club, this is an ADULTS ONLY event!!

VENDORS - WE NEED YOUR HELP!! PLEASE PM ME!!

Hope to see you there!!
Nick & Dar and Ryan & Denise

Well guys/gals, it's getting to be that time of year again. We'll be throwing a big party up in the cool pines of Overgaard, AZ. I'll be posting more details as the date draws nearer, but wanted to get this out early so you can hopefully pencil in the weekend.

Those of you who have been to one of our functions know I don't fork around when it comes to BBQ and Mike is our resident cocktail alchemist.

There is plenty of room to park an RV up there, or tent it. The hotels are booked solid years out, so don't even bother trying. It is only a 2 hr drive from the valley, so if you want to just show up for the day that's cool too.

The main event will be Saturday afternoon, but we'll be kicking off on Friday if anyone wants to spend the weekend up there. The big fireworks display is on Saturday night.

Hope to see some of you crazy mofos up there!!

Dave & Jenna

Yes, but some people do not look at that thread that often. I just post reminders, if not for myself.
