Unhappy I have a question about how car clubs!

We used to belong to Fire-cam of western Pa but have decides to not be in that club anymore. So the President of the club said that he was going to turn us in to some f-body association so we would never be aloud to go to nationals. Can he do that? Also he says in the bi-laws he does not have to tell his members what car show he will be attending. Isn't being apart of a car club getting your members together? Also he took money from the club for family issues and did not have it approved by our club members. Please help! I am not sure what to do?

Sounds like time to cut your losses and find another club.

you should join http://unitedgearheads.com. Its sw pa, not really a club as much as a bunch of car guys that hang out, race and go to shows together.

Yeah, I agree. Start out with bitch-slappin' him. If that don't bring you satisfaction, escalate up to more extreme forms of "tuning him up".

As the President of a Camaro club (Classic Camaro of Central Florida) I would be ashamed if I took club funds for psnl use I would need the officers and the members vote to do so. Is your club a non-profit club? I have been in my Camaro club for 15 years I have never see or herd of a ban list I would call it B.S. If anything he needs to be on it if they had one for stealing the clubs funds I would honestly check the club by-laws he may have commuted a criminal act depending on how much he took.
The goal if a car club is to join people who have a love for the Camaro & Fureburd together enjoy each others company forget the real world B.S. And just have fun. I can tell you this is what we do in our Clubthe more members in attendance the better.

Something your club presidentneeds to remember the car club is the members car club not the offices club.

Sean
