It must be the SCT tuner stuff. Probly doesn't have the right software to tune the car to pass. It's not the header ect. Well, it does cause the rear 02's to fail but that is what our softwares can tweak to make it work fine.

So,yes all of our cars passed the readiness test this year,all sporting headers and most had no cats.

They can pass.

I have been using EFILive for years on my last LS1 and I passed every year with headers and no cats. It is all in the tune. I have not messed with my tune yet but am sure with help I can get mine to pass the readiness tests after I get my headers,etc installed. I think Slowhawk helped me on my LS1 years ago. He knows his tuning.

If you have not had this resolved already, we can help you threw your SCT format. You can e-mail us your SCT tune file, I'll transfer it to an EFI live format, make the changes, transfer it back to and SCT format, and sent it back to you.

We do this very regularly, so it's nothing new to us, or a problem.

Call or PM if needed.

Hi Ray,

My last post was removed but I just wanted to state a fact in an open thread asking Vendors for help. The KOOKS headers are not the problem and that is all that I will say. We have 25+ sets running around that we have installed without 1 issue. Good luck finding the correct solution.

Everyday is a Learning experience, and it is Stand Up Guys Like this that this Community has to be Thankful for.

This Still does not mean it is an End all but hopefully another Step Forward toward a Solution to this current problem.

Ray does not have the Dealer File he only has the Customer Export file so it would be of no help.

ECS is good guys and we have a good working relationship with them. Like I said Ray we will figure this out one way or another man. Don't you worry this on top on my priority list everyday!
