Question Getting ready to paint my calipers - have some quick questions

Ok, so I have decided to paint my calipers using the G2 high temp paint system...here are some links:After looking at my calipers, it seems I have a Chevrolet & Brembo stickers already on them...I am assuming I would remove these first before doing anything...Using a razor blade?

Once I am done painting and it's dry I would want to put these stickers back on. Any ideas where I can get the same exact ones?

And should I clear coat over these stickers or whould they be ok without it?

Thanks in advance!

I used G2 as well and it came out really good, just take your time on the outer parts, as for the decals idk I have a V6 and they don't come with Brembo brakes

I wouldn't put the stickers back on, unless you really want to. Everyone knows you drive a Chevy and any enthusiast will know you have Brembos, so what's the point of the stickers?

Like sidd said make sure you take your time, and make sure to mask off the back of the pads, and any little gaps where paint might get in. You don't want your brakes to be locking up because you didn't take the short 5-10 mins of masking everything off.

I painted my calipers with G2 epoxy black paint and after they dried installed silver Chevrolet and red Brembo stickers in the exact location, size and font that the OEM lettering had. I removed my rotors and brake pads and left the calipers in their original mounting location to paint. I taped off the ends of the bolts that hold the caliper halves together as well as the bleeder screws and metal line between the caliper halves for added OEM look detail. While the rotors were off I painted them silver with Ceramic spray paint. If you take your time and clean everything well, a brushed G2 finish can rival a powder coat finish in quality. I did not sand off the factory painted Chevrolet and Brembo lettering, it disappears quickly under the G2 paint. When using the G2 with a brush, get a soft natural hair 1" to 1.5" brush instead of using the throw away nylon brush G2 supplies, the brush strokes will be finer and disappear as the G2 paint cures. I used approximately 2/3 of the container of the G2 paint to coat all 4 calipers 4 times but since all of paint was catalyzed, it gets thrown out. So far after over a month and some severe heat cycles the paint and high temp vinyl stickers look new. And no, I did not clear coat over the vinyl stickers.
