PS - No we are not painting units - that option is for the customer to do - the one at the Kemah Car Show was great - talking to Shannon about getting his V6 unit done!

What I would like to ask Vararam is do you have enough units to fill all the pre-orders?

Is there going to be a non-oiled option for filters? I know it ships with the Green Filter, are there other options out there that will fit? I ran an oiled filter K&N filter in my truck for about 10 years with no issues, but I would probably prefer an non-oiled option if there is one.

You got to keep up. ALL FILTERS ARE WHITE. I believe these filters will be oiled as well.

As far as I am aware, there will not be a no-oil filter option. The included filter is custom made to Vararam specs so you will not likely find another option out there for this intake. The oil used for these filters is not the same as what you would typically find on oiled filters....

The next key factor is most typical cotton filters use cotton gauze as their media for filtration. This type of material has very inconsistent holes so they need to use a very heavy petroleum oil which can damage sensors and restrict air flow. Green Filter USA material is woven cotton (like a shirt) which has more consistent smaller holes. The big benefit to using this material is the holes are smaller and there are many more of them. Because of these facts we can use a very thin synthetic oil which cleans particles as small as 1 micron, when the benchmark for the industry is only 5 micron.

Also I might add, I told Steve I wanted a red filter back in the begining or at least when the order was made and that's when he told me all filters would be white but if I wanted red, I could die it red or any other color I wanted which I may do. Thought he said there may even be a colored oil to spray it with to change the color.
