I can't stress this enough! Open toe shoes with socks or stockings is still open toe. Just put a pair of shoes in your car just to be safe and then you can do everything else in sandals if you want.

And if anyone forgets their shoes, you can always borrow my smelly ones.....

They used to when it was worth more than the Canadian dollar but some might refuse it now. I would say that 50% will accept the USD.

They do, I used US currency last year at a few places, but taxes are higher.

If you go to a Wal-Mart or McPukes, their cash registers automatically do the conversion for you. Most franchise gas stations will have a sign showing the exchange rate at the counter.
