Just found this thread... Clutch sticking is an issue. Looks like I am out of luck with the dealer fixing the issue with the GM part# 24255748 since my car has 13K miles... I am going toreach out to my dealer to check if they will help me.

Do you have a link to the LPE kit or spring that fixes the issue? Does the LPE spring make the clutch even more difficult to engage from the pedal?

I'm most likely going with a RAM twin disk that will handle 900hp.

I thought about going with the ACT.. if I end up with more power in future and have to replace clutch.. I'll go with ACT Twin disc good for 1100lbs TQ and lightweight flywheel..
I think the ZR1 clutches have been holding alot of power though..

I was also considering the ACT, as my choice after researching a number of brands that I thnk are all good but then after finding RAM (referred by my shop) and reading up on their product offering I realized these guys must be the real deal. They practically have a system for whatever you want, and will customize it for you and your car. One example of their offerings is; They have means and tools to allow you to adjust pedal level and engagement, and that can all be dialed in specifically for you.
I'm not a clutch expert, but I don't think this can be done on a stock clutch, but apparently their tech will work with other aftermarket clutches too, I've only seen this on their product offering.
Lastly, they reference and explain how they eliminate the clutch shifting challenges many folks experience at higher RPM (wrestling to get it in gear).
IMO; Their technology, and product is quite impressive.

Take a moment and check it out.

Wondering if people on C5 have used this product???

I am sure there quit a few people out there with RAM clutches.. I just been using ACT clutches in my last car and loved it. I usually like to find something I like and stick with that company.

I've had the clutch sticking halfway down, or all the way down thing happen about 4 times now. Took it to the dealer for the second time, GM says nothing is wrong but will start a case # for it. Dealer recommends flushing fluid, replacing with new better fluid, bleeding etc. So today the dealer changed the fluid, bled the lines like 4 times... Clutch pedal actually stuck halfway RIGHT THERE in the work bay!!! So now they are taking the car apart, and they're say they are going to "start" by replacing with the slave/throw out... I'm like you've already got it that far apart, and you know they have already have an upgraded flexplate/clutch and throw out, why don't you replace it all at the same time so I don't have to come back again??? Still working on that part. I'm at about 9500 miles btw.

I also think when I get it back I am going to either get the LPE clutch pedal return kit or make my own. I don't really like the idea of paying 90 bucks for a spring and a piece of steel.

I've had the stuck clutch issue about 5 times in all, couple last year, then on my second strip outing this year. I probably did about 60-70 1/4 miles on the stock clutch total. This year it happedn twice at the strip, so I replaced it with a Center Force Dual Friction and billet flywheel (29lb).

This clutch feels MUCH better than the stock unit, and after 15 runs, the pedal has not stuck once. I'd recommend this clutch to anyone.

Stock clutch was NOT very worn when it came out. New one grabs much better, with nearly stock pedal pressure (maybe 20-25% more).

First sticking issue yesterday...only 4 hard runs with it...they said there is a "new bulletin" that says to "adjust the pedal"!?!? Should I just go to another dealer now?
