ronlslo, between 50 and 60 miles on 6th is well under 2k rpm right? if you can accelerate bat out of hell under 2k rpm on 6th, I am very very impressed.

Well, I guess not "bat out of hell" but you get the idea

Yeah, I wouldn't exactly call it bat out of hell but at least I can get out of my own way now.

In my car, 50mph is 1450rpm and 60mph is 1820rpm. I checked at lunch. To accelerate in 6th gear from 50 to 60 takes a bit over 5 seconds, with the AC on and radio temp showing 93 degrees. Is that fast? Not exactly how I'd describe it but at least the car moves now when I mash the pedal to the floor @ 50mph. With the stock intake, I could easily count to 5 by the time I got to 52mph doing the same thing.

If this info concerns any of you considering buying this intake, please remember that it was optimized for 1st, 2nd and 3rd mostly. 6th wasn't even something we looked at simply because it was an overdrive gear. You don't race in 6th! (I hope?)

Or, amazingly, the very first line of the very first post. :( I put a link there over a week ago to go straight to the pictures of the updated version.

The dyno run you did with the 1st production run speak for itself. It was very impressive. If I was not a power junkie than I probably get the VR and maybe a new exhaust and call it a day! I think rcat600 is the one who pulled 13.7 with just injen and exhaust?? One can probably do 13.5 all day with VR if rcat600 can pull 13.7 with injen. I wish there was a way to get actual highway simulated dyno number. That ram effect is something else

Can't wait to get this bad boy

Well, the negative DA air he ran in up north certainly helps with that lol.

Well, I'm number two on the list and I got no info reference a tracking number, nor was my card debited. Not a good sign for them going out today but I'm just speaking from the obvious.
