noid light? oscilloscope?

Here in Alabama those are only learned about in rocket science school.

I don't know what those are. And considering these people down here can't even get a simple smoke test right. I'm going to say no.
Now if you weren't in such a dilemma with the car I would say that sh1t right there is FUNNY!! I don't care who ya are...

Yeah, the 'scope was a long shot. Man I used to use the sh1t outta the one we had....

But if the connections are working, what difference would soldering do? I used the same type of crimping coupler that comes with the blower.

I suggested a noid light way back when.LOL

Honestly, with the scanner hooked up and watching the AFR and Timing and Fuel trims, as well as a few other sensors( cam, crank, map sensors), whenever it misfires or skips, it will show up on the scanner and show exactly what is happening.

this is what is so perplexing.....and on the spreadsheet it tells you the perimeters for it to throw a light and yes i can get you the v6 one

Do you still have the AFM lifters in it? I can't remember and not goin' back thru the whole damn thread!
lol he doesnt like talking bout the lifters......its sensitive to him

Just for clarification, those two wires are *just* cut & crimped for the IAT relocation.

Napa part #CRB 2282572 $34.99 ~or~ CRB 2282571 $41.99

Evap Canister Solenoid Purge Valve

Me, I would go this route first. Everything I'm reading about this solenoid says that if it's not working (always open) it will allow the exhaust gases to continually enter the intake. That, at idle, will basically cause misfire or stutter or die. However, at normal cruising speed you wouldn't have the misfire because the canister is doing what it's supposed to do and venting into the atmosphere.

I may be way off here, but that's where you found an air leak, it made some funny noises when you put 20 psi of compressed air in the system, and it's cheap.
