Everyone above that stated they have a v6 with squeaky brakes has been added.

Please, if you want to help this issue get rolling, send any other v6 owner with squeaky brakes here and get them on this list!

SS guys have many TSBs that try to stop the squealing. However, Brembos are notoriously bad squeakers.

This thread is trying to highlight the problems with the V6 Camaro, because it seems that Chevy has tried multiple fixes for the SS, yet has not tried to make any fix for us V6ers.

Mine squeek occassionally when i come to a stop, but the one thing i have noticed is that even when i start to accelerate, i still hear a squeek. Maybe a sticky caliber? It is quite annoying and embarassing to be rolling through traffic and to hear the car squeeking

I've only got 44xx miles on mine and the breaks squeak a bit. Heck, I noticed it at around 600-700 miles. I'm glad to know I'm not alone.

It seems that people are having this problem all over the board with mileages. Some earlier posters said there car was almost brand new... whereas for me my car is over 2 years old.

What was crazy is how 26,000 miles was the magic number for when brake squeal started for myself and I believe 2 or 3 other people lol

If anyone here hasn't already been into their dealer for this issue I would suggest you do so at your earliest convenicence. Hopefully we can get a resolution for all of you. Same here, after camaro has been parked overnight, pulling out of the drive way, up to about a 1/4 mile... she be squeeeeking... rear brakes
