while they won't be the same number, they should at least be in the same ballpark... I really want to see some more independent testing and some time slips..

well couldnt you say the same about the injen?

that they are playing it safe with the gains of 18-20 rwhp

Possibly. Another thing that I like about the VR is the ease of installation (compared to Injen long tube).

Ease of installation?
You have to move the radiator and dremel custom brackets...

You just tilt the radiator back a bit, and I used two L brackets that mount in stock radiator bolt location. Easy as pie. Well, at least on the V8 version. Can't imagine it is any different. It is a very simple process.

I'm just pointing out that it's not one of the easiest to install.
Each has their ups and downs.

Well, it really doesn't get much easier. Much easier than some of the others.

Not trying to get into an argument. I was just commenting on E.T.'s post.

Supposedly VR modified the brackets or made longer bolts or something along those lines so the top brackets will fit and the radiator will be secure. From what I've heard on this thread, the install is supposed to be pretty easy.

Can't wait for the first reports to start rolling in

Its very true! I've called 3 different numbers and all 3 have said the same thing. It's because its at a distribution center with no public contact. I was on the phone for an hour hoping they would just give in.

The V8 one is the fastest intake to install and remove. It took me 10 minutes to remove my VR and install the stock box, when dynoing.
If the V6 is similar, getting the TB coupler on the opening of the VR is the hard part. Oh and on the V8, radiator bolts aren't needed. You'll have to determine if that is the case on the V6, once you have it semi installed.

It kinda says that in the instructions if you read between the lines.
You are the winner - this is exactly what we were trying to imply!!!!
