Im speaking from experience, but I would do everything you can possibly afford at this point as it will be alot cheaper now than to wish you had done it when you had the chance. Vengeance has built some bad motors and I would let them build you the biggest bang for the buck. Im sure its a relief knowing that very soon you will have your car back and knowing it will be perfect when you get it back.

It really is. I felt like crap when I left Atlanta a few weeks ago. But it will be nice to have it right.
The car has been great. The blower has been great. Many people would have just lived with the surge. Me, I couldn't. Not with it dying from time to time as well.

If it were me, I would have Vengeance do their thing. I realize budget is a factor...it is for most of us...but if you're digging deep enough to change lifters, you might as well get the cam and supporting stuff, too. IMVHO. Of course, I'm not footing the bill...

I have the money. Just don't want to spend it.
Been through this with GTAHVIT on the phone. I told him that I felt like I took a 'ManCard Hit' by not completing the deal ultimately. He told me he was going to just tell me what his Father-In-Law would tell him in the same situation because of feeling like that. "WHO THE FU** DO YOU THINK YOU ARE? So all of a sudden you are an expert? Mr. certified mechanic guy. What the hell makes you think that you can just jump in and do it as well as the pros. How bout a little respect to them?" Fair enough. I was laughing too hard to really comment back. he had a good point. And my effort was not in vain. It's a tiny small thing on a used blower install. May even be unrelated to the install. (I suspect it is now)BUT, I did have the car running great. Fast and strong so I had already 'Won' so to speak. And so I was not expecting to have to spend the money. You gotta pay to play. I understood that the whole time. And still do. I just had thought I got away with one. But I guess I didn't. I knew if the lifters were gonna go out I'd not be covered under the TSB. But so be it. I'll be the fastest Camaro in Mobile, AL

Better order a 3.4" pulley. You'll want it when the cam goes in (the cam will eat some of your boost).
