There was a guy on the Mid-Atlantic forum that blew his motor and actually sounded glad about it cause he couldn't wait to get a 427 under his hood...or was it the 454

Lingenfelter is right around the corner from you in Indiana. I'm sure they would be glad to drop in a 427. They do replace some of the stock engines with 427's- maybe they have or could get you a stock block from their shop or one of their customers who no longer want it.

There is a article on this in latest issue of Hot Rod Magazine. (or Car Craft) I was reading it while I was in the grocery store so I don't remember which one. It was pointing out engine damage when you raise the horsepower of the LS3 and the L99. I don't remember the range but it was a good read. Hope you can get back on the road soon.

Dug a little deeper today....found # 1 plug wasted as well...chunks of metal in the intake as well.

I really need to figure out why the hell this happened.
