Times of showings are not avaliable yet but once they are they will be posted and we'll decide on what time will be working out for us. The theater that we might be watching the movie at may be the Cineport 10 at Mesilla Valley Mall in Las Cruces, NM and we may have to arrive to whatever showing that's decided about an hour early that way we don't run into the fiasco that occured with Fast 5 where only half was able to see one showing cause tickets sold out when we went to pick up tickets an hour and a half before the showing. Again details will be provided once they become avaliable and maybe we can all catch a bite to eat somewhere either before or after the movie. So who's in?!
I'm in!! And how about we talk to the manager about parking our camaros in front of the theater???

I doubt that will would be able to park them in that round-about as it's designated as a fire emergency zone. But I will give a call to the theater and see what can be done. It would be awesome if we could get Frank's Transformers Edition inside the theater as they did with the Charger for Fast 5.

Also, does anyone know what code to put in to add a YouTube video to this forum? I'm having trouble getting a video to work.

Im most likely in. I highly recommend buying your tickets as soon as we agree on a time, so we don't run the risk of them being sold out, but I do agree we probably still need to show up about an hour early to get decent seats. I think maybe getting together for lunch and an earlier showing would be fun.

Hey Guys, any of you all up for some drag racing? Everyone knows are cars are pretty to look at, we need to show them they also can run like a Raped Ape!

The Rustang crowd is always well represented at the track, I am luckey if one other Camaro ever shows. Come on out a have some fun and run your car like it was meant to!

same here, all I understand is burnout-->gas pushed down hard-->win/loss
plus...my parents are against me racing :(
they agreed to take me to the track, but no racing

I have my cake, but would love to taste it

It's not the hard to, but takes a lot of skill to to well, a manual tranny even more so.
What is really cool, is your car doesent have to be super fast to win if you are bracket racing. You race against a dail in time. Say your car runs the 1/4 in 13.0 seconds. In that bracket the closest to 13.0 without breaking out and runing faster wins. It is a lot of fun!
As long as you watch the wheel hop, you wont hurt anything. Not all Camaros have the wheel hop, if you do there are a a few mods to fix the problem for a couple of hundred bucks.
Heads up racing is one on one fastest car wins.
There are a lot of cars running between 13 and 15 seconds. Just a few running faster, if you get down to 11 flat or better you are in rare company.
My car at 11 flat is in the top 10 for the M6's here on the Camaro5 board. I am going to try to get into the low 10's, but need a lot more seat time, a really well prepped track and cooler air.

They are going to have an 1/8 mi. race this Friday starting at about 7 pm. There will be some top fuel dragsters there as well.
