according to Dragtimes.com, the DA was ~8437ft at the time of this run. and yes it was 9200+ earlier. this car ran 12.03@117 with a 1.83 60ft same day. 9000+ DA. I am sure Ahmed will manage to get an 11.7 if the DA gets in the 7500? we will see....

AIR likes to push the limit !

Can you say 805 RWHP on a Stock Bottom End LS1 ?? We did today !

SO.......... Finished another Project, this time on a 4th Gen Camaro...

This car has always been the expermental car. Owner is a good friend of mine. 2 1/2 years ago tested out a new custom grind cam to maximize power and still pass emissions, a though task. Born was the Emax Cam, and she passed in many cars since then with little to no issue.

So.... Up until 6-8 weeks ago car had STOCK BOTTOM END LS1, Heads / AIR Emax Cam / Fast Intake and the Car put down 455 RWHP and 400 RWTQ.

Latest Project was Custom F1-A Procharger Kit w/Front mount Intercooler, leaving everytrhing else the same, Stock Bottom end motor, Same Cam, Heads, Intake Etc...

Here are the pics of the end product...

Engine BAY BEFORE....

1/2 WAY THROUGH THE PROCESS

AIR CUSTOM TWIN WALBRO 510L Per Hour Total Fuel System Pics.

AND THE END RESULTS !

And the results...And a Little unexpected. 805 RWHP SAE corrected.

Were seeing 13psi of boost on a 11 to 1 compression motor.

Aprox Sealevel Boost correction would be, 16psi to acheave the same RWHP results at sealevel.

Only did 2 pulls on the Dyno... Dyno #1 spun the tires bad and did not get a good reading.

Dyno #2 put down 725 RWHP with the power flattening after 5500 rpms showing signs of belt slip.

Tigntened down the belt, added some belt dressing, added 2 deg of timing with still alot of room to grow since were on E85, but had a problem with our 2nd pump activation on pull #3 so had to back out.

Fixed 2nd pump activation (poor ground connection) , and did a full pass and Dyno #4 is the result...

I have no doubt with a cooler engine, more timing, Zero belt slip (cause it's still prevelent on the dyno sheet after 6200 rpms), And re-working the dual -6an feed lines to the stock rail (were running out of fuel based off of the cars wide band running towards 13.0 in the upper rpms), On this patucular setup we were not using bears wideband, though it was hooked up.

If the issues mentioned above were not there we could have hit around 850+ WHP, and I'm crazy enough to push it there..

She's currently tuned right now for Aprox 700 rwhp on the street to try and keep the stock internals alive for a while. We decided to give it a glory pass on the Dyno to see what she can do, the numbers outsurpassed any thoughts or expectations we had, And the boys that were at the Dyno stated we broke a few records with this pull of 805 rwhp on this paticular Dyno, The most wheel hp they can recall on a stock bottom end.

We had a great day today ! Time to hit the sack !

Had a great time meeting many of you and hanging out for the day. The kiddos had fun, they enjoyed the cars, and were happy to not be stuck at home.

Let me know of plans/details for anything on Monday and I will see if I can make it.

Your kids were great, Keith, and anytime there's a yellow Bee in the group, it always draws the crowd. Hope to see you at future gatherings (with my real car - not the loaner convertible ).

Anyone Looking for a "Slightly Used" VR 'Vert?

Very soon there will be a sweet 2SS/RS VR Convertible going on the market as a rental return thru Avis in Castle Rock. A6, grey/black interior, black top, approx 6200 miles (mostly highway). I've had it as a loaner for the last 7 weeks while my own car was being repaired after it was involved in an unfortunate incident.

I can't account for the first 300 miles on it, but the rest are mine. It has been VERY WELL cared for, never raced or abused (despite the pleas from others, and you know who you are )...

If you are interested, or know someone who is, send me a PM and I'll get the details of when & where it can be seen & test driven. Here are a few pictures of it:

I'm thinking of going, but would like to make the run with some others from Parker.

Stevenson Cheverolet Car Show.

I went to the Stevenson Cheverolet Car Show on Saturday with my son and Fiance. Had a great time and met some very nice people and got to see some very nice cars.

Here are some photos that I had taken. There were 4 Gen 5 Camaros. 2 IBMs, 1 RJT, and 1 Rally Yellow. (Sorry Dexman1349 I did not get a photo of yours). I just had wished more cars has shown up, it only looked like around 20.

Any info about the Estes show?

So, when is Spirit coming home? Do we need to have a coming home party/cruise?

Hope to see you all soon. We've been back in NY visiting family all weekend!

Hoping this week - decals & clear bra go on tomorrow, then detailed on Wed or Thurs. Of course, the weather is supposed to be crappy those two days. I'm crossing my fingers for Thurs. A coming home party/cruise would be great by me!

Hope you had a good time in NY and that the weather wasn't too muggy. You've been missed at the gatherings (there will be debate on that point I'm sure).

you, sir, are a very funny guy!

Friday is the target - it's like waiting for her to arrive the first time.

Considering a "happy hour" celebration at my house on 7/15 - if more than 3 people would show up (I'll provide drinks & burgers if everyone could bring a munchie item). Or we could do a cruise sometime that weekend - whatever would work.
