2011 ac recall question .

Alright guys and gals, any of you with 2011 L99 cars been back to the dealeer for the re-flash of the AC bcm to make the AC compressor work correctly have any issues with their AC's still ?? Mine seemed to be not as cold as it should be for a brand new car when I got it, then the recall came out and I took the car in to have it done. The AC seemed to be a lot colder that it was for 1 day then seemed to revert back to what it was before the re-flash. Seems it is only cold when the blower fan is at it's high speed, turn it down and it is not so cold anymore. My 7 yr old mustang I had had colder AC than this car has and it has never been recharged. I took it back and they checked it for me and they said the software that was re-flashed was still intact and was blowing 43 degrees at the vent and was within spec, but who drives down the road with the AC blower on WOT and trying to hear your radio and the car at the same time?? They want me to leave it for a day so they can check to see if any of the vent doors might be malfunctioning of something. So, any of you folks had any AC issues as like it not being cold enough?? Thanks..Love my Camaro though..

I got the letter about the AC from GM this Saturday but haven't had a chance to get it into the dealer for the BCM reprogram yet.
The weather's been strange around here for much of the spring so I really hadn't run the AC too many times since I bought the car in mid-March but whenever I did it didn't seem to cool too much.

I took mine in for the recall, had the BCM flashed and my AC seems to be blowing just fine. So far no issues. My 2011 AC seems to be better than the one I had on my 2010.
Cheers

i just got my 2011 about two weeks ago. I don't drive it much so I can't really answer that. But thanks for the heads up. I will be bringing it in now for the recall.

Don't feel bad as my 2011 with 8600 miles on it also had a cracked condenser. Mine was in the upper right hand side of the condenser, yours?

Luckily my VIN was not included in the recall.

Thanks guys. Mine blows pretty cold when ever I have the blower fan set at halfway on the dial and upwards, any lower and it doesn't seem to be as cold, of course it is 95 degrees down here, but maybe it is just me as the inside of the car is black, and is much bigger than the mustang I used to have so it takes more to cool it down.

was driving mine yesterday, my car read 108 degrees outside, and the A/C performance seemed to be really inadequate, and nowhere near as cold as it should be (I had it on full blast). I took my car to the dealer last Thursday to get it reprogrammed, and yet, the A/C still seems like it's under-performing. Thoughts?

That blows! Excuse the pun! but I just got this car not even a week ago and I noticed that the other day when I was sitting in it that it was not nearly as cold as it has been in the past!
One thing is i dont want is to be dealing with dealers of recalls.

Hopefully they can get it right the 1st time (or 2nd)

I took mine in for her first oil change last week and was told about the recall. I went ahead and had them fix it. When I first bought the car, it didnt get very cold but now it works great!

Is this just isolated to L99's or are LS3's affected as well?
