Then I thought to myself, don't you want the leather, upgraded stereo, gauges package, steering wheel radio controls, etc?
The answer was yes.

Then I asked myself, don't you want to HID's with the halo ring (man they really make the car look good), body colored ditch molding, and midnight silver wheels?
The answer again was yes.

So I decided the extra cost for me will be well worth it. I plan on keeping my Camaro for a long time.

It's not just headlights.... it's a LOT more. The price is honestly fair and reasonable... especially if you have GM discount pricing

$960 was a no brainer on a 31.4k car for what you get...

I ordered just the SS2 rally yellow w/ the black rally stripes and w/ tax tag and everything it was $40,467. But, now I feel like I'm missing out on the better lights. so, do I want to but in another $1,200?

I love mine and may have skipped the RS option if they were available alone, however the larger wheels/tires and other stuff make the package a good buy for a 2LT like I'm getting.
It's also worth mentioning the power and connectors for adding in HID lights. I read a while ago that it might not be just an easy swap...you might have some wiring or other crap to do as well...

Save the time and headache. It's probably cheaper to get RS in the long run.
