Arrow 2011 HUD

I have read some threads concerning HUD parts to install on a 2010 Camaro. My question is will this work on a 2011 Camaro? Also, I have read you need a speacial windshild, is this true?

If anyone has information on a complete kit for a 2011 HUD it would be greatly appreciated.

No, you don't need to replace the windshield, HUD information can be found at http://www.camaro5.com/forums/showthread.php?t=93729. Haven't heard much of anyone trying it on a 2011.

The stock HUD does have a special windshield in the vehicles, its marked right on the windshied. Do you need one? I believe these windshields have a reflective coating on them to make the display work better in bright ambient light.

Should be able to make it work, and no, a new windshield is not necessary. The HUD wont be as bright as with the special window but it still works fine.

No problem with a non-HUD windshield, can read mine in the bright sun with sunglasses.
