Yeah, I just kind of plugged my ears and sang la la la when Patrick at Vararam was telling me how hard my car pulled (repeatedly) to the redline in 3rd gear when I picked it up one day. Quick math says 3rd gear at redline is booking at 100mph+ and I know full well there isn't a 1/4 mile track available for spur of the moment testing sessions near their office.

It's all good though, at least I know my car is solid at those speeds.

Injen vs Vararam

Look what just arrived for #13 on the list.

I dusted off the Matirix Acceleromter to get some 0-60 mph runs in with the Injen before The VR install tomorrow. Got one in before some rain came. Runs are done from idle with all nannies on.

I hope to get at least two more in the morning. After the VR install and re-learn, I'll do 3 runs under the same conditions.

Run this morning.

I follow and appreciate all the peeps who take the time and money to Dyno, I just go. When someone asks how much HP my car has, I take the Michael Keaton tact when it comes to #'s

Cool! I've been waiting to hear feedback from someone who switches from the Injen. And just in time for me to figure out if I need to put my name on the 2nd group buy list.

Waiting to hear! especially as a Injen style cold air is good or better to about 60-70 and ram air after that is better.New ground being blazed here thats for sure

I went ahead and grabbed an extra set of radiator brackets to cut up for this install. The directions don't mention anything about removing that alignment stud off the front of them, but unless you want to drill a hole in the scoop (which might create a stress point in it you don't want) I don't see any other choice. Any thoughts?

Just ordered them from the parts department at my dealer, both cost $20 all together. The part number is: 92236770.

If you look at the video in the first post, you will see he removed that tab from the brackets.

I go the morning of Satuday, July 2nd for my dyno runs...can't wait to see the results...hopefully the Vararam, OBX long tubes, MRTv2 combo can get me to 300hp...I'm thinking 280-285 is more realistic though

I readjusted the intake and made sure the clamps were really tight but its still moving.

Quick question, the slots in the intake for the radiator brackets, mine are touching the left side of each slot. Are they suppose to be or are they suppose to be more towards the middle of the slot?

Here are two pictures. The first is driver side and second is passenger side.
