So every thing else being the same is it the 9 after the year rather than a 1 that ID'S this different than the $350,000 one?

10th digit is the year
11th digit is the plant code
12th-17th digit is the sequential number

doesnt matter that vin number he posted is a 2010 car,, the 10th digit is the year and 2010 = A, he is trying to say all ctf camaro's are 2009's, the 10 th digit would be a 9

Do you think this is the first time Rick ever watch the start of the new model GM car? He knows full well that there are cars that will have actually been produced before his 1000001. However, those cars will have been driven (maybe hard) and will have who knows how many miles on them once they make it into someone's hands. Rick's on the other hand will have 0 (or close to it) when he picks it up Monday.

Car 000001 was made a long time ago. In fact, there have been maybe as many as 296 cars made before his (as evidenced by Mrs. Number 3's VIN 296). Rick's car is 1000001.

Looks like they have been in production since Feb 9th according to a new tread tonight. Would appear they needed the extra month to make those dealer cars.???

So NASCAR is well represented for the first ones being built beside Mr Hendrick?? Well Jr must be one of them. You would think Jimmie Johnson too, and Gordon. Hell, maybe all of the Hendrick drivers. I thought Mark Martin owned a Ford dealership though??
