I doubt it, they seem to be in a state of denial.

I don't own either blower (yet) but from other threads on here it is looking like Whipple is lacking in the customer support category too. One of the guys here in Ca has been dealing with a stuck bypass valve and neither he nor his tuner can get any assistance from Whipple on how to correctly fix the issue.

KB's may have heat issues, but I think I would rather deal with that then the open bypass valve making less power than stock.

Before anyone gets all up in arms over this individual issue, I realize it is isolated. It doesn't make it any less painful for the one going through it though, does it?

Customer service seems to end once the sale is completed with some companies. Not all, I've seen some pretty impressive CS from other FI company's so I know it can be done.

Maybe they should offer a bigger blower. You hear about the high hp builds, but a 2.3L blower will suit probably 95+ % of the market. Once you get over about 650 wheel hp, you turn your sweet gen V camaro into a complete beast. Not that there's anything wrong with that.....love to read about it.....just would no way want to live with it. On the lower hp builds, a smaller blower is actually better. Just maybe Maggie knows what they're doing

I agree - a 700hp TVS1900 rips circles around the TVS2300 down low. But the TVS 2300 is no slouch

3.6 KB

I'm not going to get into the temp discussion........but the 3.6KB is one beast when it comes to power.

My car only got 2 tries at the track a few weeks ago (mainly due to the bracket racing going on, etc). When you got this much power, you really need to have everything tweaked and tuned with regards to the transmission and running it at the track.

On the first run, with a very avg 1.71 60' time, the car had a massive spinout at around 125 feet give or take. It caused the car to hit the rev limiter thus shifting it back down to first (all this seemed like it took possibly a sec off the time), the car then proceeded to fly down the track until sometime after the 1000' mark and shifted into overdrive....and seemingly slowing the car to the end of the run....given all that it still had a 10.6.

Since then they have changed the shift points, and limited the T/B response to hopefully nearly eliminate the spinning going from 1st to 2nd (and the next few shifts as well).

Kudos to the 3.6 KB and the livernois tuning team. Not only is it the nicest looking set-up under the engine, but the sound of this car is second to no other build that I've seen or heard. That along with the fact that my car is probably the only one in the top 10 thats hasn't had at least one transmission problem or Engine blow-up.

Given all that I feel like I've got the best set-up in the country and the luckiest to have Livernois on my team.

james , i see you also run meth, are you tuned for the hp from it or just running it more as a cooler and keeping cylinder combustion cooler...i did dyno mine with the meth and picked up approx 35 rwhp from it, but decided not to tune for it in case of any malfunction..went from 694 to 660 without the meth tune.

Good question...I'm not to sure....I'll have to ask. I know we aren't using much. Andy was commenting on that.
