Talking OCD much?

Today when doing some laundry, i noticed that literally half if not more of it was drying/detailing towels... After reloading the stock I then took notice to the dozen bottles of waxes, cleaners, detail sprays, leather conditioner i had.

I know I'm not the only one out there... We are some sick people.

You'll know Gen5 OCD rules your life when you've noticed that half the laundry is micro fiber detailing towels and the other half is a combo of your missing socks and your wifes/girlfriends G-Strings.............that you've also secretly been using as detailing rags. You'll really know things are going down hill fast when-ever your loved ones are timing your once hated quick trips to the grocery store for shampoo deodorant, and bath soap.............. which end up being three hour vacations to the local auto parts store detailing section.

I just got back from a week long vacation, and the high point of my week was that the house we rented had a large enough garage for me to detail my car. I washed, and put two coats of wax on it! The funny part is that my family makes fun of my car OCD, but my sis and bro in law were in awe of my RV filter I put on the hose and are going to buy one!

My Camaro gets the one step Turtle Wax wash. While you all are waxing, I'm driving.

I can honestly say I enjoy detailing my camaro. After doing it once or twice, you don't really have to think about it. Just do it. I'd kill an afternoon doing it and feel like i accomplished something significant, lol.

I do the same thing. i will only use one rag for each chrome wheel, and usually only one detailing towel for one side of the car. Then they go straight into the laundry basket.

I confirmed my OCD when I couldn't just detail my car by hand. I'm the proud owner of a Porter Cable buffer, Ridgid sander, and a large 10" polisher, though either one can do all the jobs.
