Scott S. has the name of Fbodfather for a reason and he has access to all the FACTS... all these other people are giving OPINIONS, not facts.. I trust what Scott S. says, Not someone giving an opinion...
I just don't understand with as many times he has told us things, people on here still want to act like they know more than he does...

Geez, I am not disagreeing with fbodfathers quote. I in fact am in complete agreement. He said these cars will not be for sale....initially. Where is the sales training that he says some will be used for? Its at the dealers! and its scheduled during April.....Duh! GM has it all together and has built a great car for us to enjoy. Since the V6 is currently on constraint all these cars are not for sale. I would be pretty upset if I ordered a V6 and could not get allocation then all of the sudden joe blow shows up at the dealer and bought one off the floor before the one I ordered in October was available. Soon all the answers will be out and you know it wont even matter. Scott S is a true american hero to me and all his hard work on this project is totally appreciated. I would never suggest that his facts were up for challange. I was just suggesting a potential idea that perhaps might play itself out. Ya all have a great day.

Okay, the GM dealer across the street from the Chevy dealer i work at and ordered my 2SS from recieved THIS car on Friday the 13th, they've been told to keep it totally under wraps and not tell anybody or show any body any of it. This was all that they'd let me see and they were pretty pissed off when I took pics with my cellfone lol. They stressed that it's NOT for the public to see yet because it's a PRE-Production model. They also stressed that all the Chevy dealers in the city would be pretty pissed if they found out that this one was at a GM dealer, but maybe it was one of the ones in those pics from the Oshawa lot!
This one's going to be used for training purposes for a week then is going downtown for the annual World of Wheels show.

Someone else on here did the math already, but that's somewhere between $6M and $7.5M in cars (that's retail price not cost, but still).

and your point would be.........

Yup -- lots of them!

Several hundreds of them!
