I'm actually quite a fan of the gearbox in the ISF. Thing shifts WAY faster then the 6l80, with much better shift extension. Not a huge fan of the body kit though, blegh!
HAHA my bad.

You really make too big of a deal of this cylinder deactivation mode as though it takes an inordinate amount of time for the motor to "wake up" and get going. But you own an Infinity (oops I spelled it wrong) so I'm sure you know everything.

What does me owning an Infiniti have to do with anything ? That's like saying you get drunk every weekend, have a mullet, and live in a trailer park because you have a Camaro. It's not true, obviously, but since you have the right to make an assumption upon the car I drive, why can I not do the same ?

IS350 is not in the same class as the Camaro SS (as far as straight line speed).

Mid 13s will put you near or at the top of an IS350 1/4 mile list.

Lets see the top ten bone stock 1/4 mile times for the IS350. Then lets average the E.T.s and Trap speeds to get a good comparison.

On average, the Camaro SS will run a good .5 sec.+ faster (probably close to a full second faster) and traps a good 5+ mph faster in the 1/4 mile. As mentioned, they're not in the same class.

Way to pick out all the hero runs... A stock IS350's 0-60 and 1/4 mile times are closer to a stock SS than a stock V6 still. They run similar times to a pre 2012 Challenger SRT8 and faster than an R/T. Of course we are strictly speaking 1/4 mile and 0-60 times. Some argue those cars aren't in the same class as the SS, some argue that they are.

I think he's challenging the people saying the IS350 is comparable to the SS to post their top 10 times for stock cars. Then we can compare apples to apples. Sounds legit to me.

Yeah, I see where he is coming from.... I'm not claiming it's faster, but the numbers of the IS350 are ridiculous for it's class, it's faster than the 335i. It's more comparable to SS times than V6 times, 0-60 is virtually dead even between the SS and IS, beyond that the SS starts to walk all over the IS.

I think everyone is losing focus here, the OP used to OWN the IS350 and he will tell you that it was no where near as fast as his new SS. With that said he will also tell you that the IS350 isnt too shabby either. BUT he never once brought up an IS350 he was asking for opinions on his SS against an IS350 ISF which is totally different than what is being discussed. UNLESS this thread was hijacked slightly, lol

IS350 ISF ? Did you just combine two model names ? The "ISF350" doesn't exist, it's either an IS-F or IS350. There is no IS350 F-sport, there is an IS250 F-sport. The IS350 is available with F-sport parts(exhaust, muffler, etc.), but not the badging and packaging as a whole.
