The 2012 pricing still isn't released? What's the hold up? Any ideads?

I think yesterday I was reading on some website and they had listing for the prices. I think it was car and driver but don't quote me on that. But I figured it can't be true because I didn't see it here first.

BeckyD told me last week that she checks at least 3 times a day for the pricing announcment. As soon as she gets it, she will post it on C5, guaranteed.

And yeah...waiting since last September, when I came over to Iraq, trying to time it so I get home and she's built and waiting for me.

i would think you'd see it on chevy's site pretty quickly after it was released publicly. seems odd they haven't posted it yet, especially since you can order one without knowing the price. that has always seemed screwy to me. what's the benefit of not posting it, maybe they hope by delaying the price more people will buy the 2011's on the lots?

I've been told to expect it around mid-July, around the time production starts. I'm sure Becky, GM Customer Service, and the other dealers on here will be letting us know as fast as they find it out.

They increased about 250-500 from the 10 to 11 didn't they? I would expect the same again...

So that means the 45th AE Package will only be $500 at most? Im in!

I just read that the Transformer package is about $3000, so I'd guess the 45th is somewhere around that ballpark...

I went through the same thing last summer. I was ready to order in April (when they started taking orders). Basically, I was told I could order the car, but they wouldn't release pricing. I wanted the car before winter, so when the end of June came and there was still no pricing, I got sick of waiting and ordered a Mustang.

Why does the fact that ATM pricing for the 2012 Camaro would prohibit you from ordering a 2012? That makes no sense.

For godsake, Winter doesn't start till December 2011.

I'm with ya on this one... anyone who doesn't buy a car because pricing isn't out on it, knowing that it wont be outlandishly higher than the previous year, didn't really want the car to begin with.

if I was going to order a car, I wouldn't let pricing stop me from ordering it... I guess this is one of those, "if you have to ask, you can't afford it" type of things :dunno:

I guess everyone is entitled to do business however they please, but I wouldn't order a car until I had an agreed upon price. For starters, I damn sure didn't pay MSRP for mine, and I don't know how you even start negotiating when you don't have a starting point, and the dealer doesn't know his cost. No, sorry, I wouldn't be ordering until I had a number on the table.
