My Dads L99 has an Airraid on it now. He is working on getting a vvt3 Cam and 3600 stall convertor for it. He has the Vmax TB and ordered a Vmax intake to go on for the cam. He is thinking of switching to the Vararam CAI. He is not happy with the Airraid, gets hot. Sounding like a nice intake for the 1/4 mile and will pull cool air in. Not sure what he is going to do just yet. I thought he was going to stop after the headers but still to slow.

He'll never stop.

The quicker throttle reponse and more torque, earlier in the RMP's, takes relearning the launch. I used to launch at 3300rpms and with the VaraRam it spins too much anything over a 2900RPM launch. Damn stock tires!

He has lots of rear end work sitting on DR's. Not sure how its going to hook after the intake and cam work. Still have to call IPS to see if they do head porting. I called them to many times for him, lol.

not saying you didnt get those #,s, but, if your car dyno,d say,, 320 stock. add the intake and tune. 340- 345 would be about where you,d be at on an average to good day. no wheres near 375. those are HUGE #,s. i,m jealous. just saying. edit,,, i would pay good money to see 375rwhp with a tune and a intake on a L99. fuse pull ? all i can say is wow.

I'd be making over 400 rwhp on that dyno.
But for some reason my car isn't any faster.

I like that,lol.

My Dads car pulled 370 rwhp with ARH, 2" x-pipe High flows, Airraid CAI, Vmax Tb, 10.4 mm wires and Silver tipped plugs. Hp tuners tune. That's a mustang dyno...

You do know those are estimated CRANK HP numbers don't you? There are guys with nice sized cams, along with all the other stuff you posted that aren't getting 470 WHEEL hp. The mods you listed wll give you 40-50whp tops. That would put a LS3 in the 410-420whp range.

I call BS on your VR and tune numbers as well. You're claiming 40+whp from VR and that aint gonna happen. Nobody's CAI is getting anywhere near that, even with a tune.

xD Or put the dyno on the back of a flatbed trailer and tow it down the highway at 70.
lol...would need something closer to a turbine engine to push those wind speeds. The trailor idea sounds like a challenge
