Hi all sorry I have been out of here a while, my father is on the long road to recovery, and he is gaining weight again now up to 124 lbs. He will not be able to start his 20 weeks worth of Chemo for another month if he gets stronger and his body is able to take it. Please keep the prayers coming! Thank all of you for the support when I dearly needed it.

On to progress....

The fuel limit has been reached and confirmed it is the mechanical pump on the engine. Lots of testing and the tank pressure is good and no issues getting to the mechanical pump. Now for the fun stuff we are making a new pump or well rebuilding the pump. We should know something within weeks we hope, but sense this is new territory for everyone please be patient! It will be done shortly!

Good to hear your father is recovering! All my best wishes to you and your family!

I saw something interesting on a commercial yesterday that may help with the fueling issue... or may not but, let's hope.

Buick has a new '12 model with DI and a turbo! Wonder if it's compatible.....

Thank you guys, my fateher is up to 126+ lbs now from just 117 when we took him home. Still have 2 more long weeks to see if they are evn going to attempt to start 20+ weeks of Chemo. I am thinking no, but whatever the docs say and my dad can stand he will do. I haven't heard anything about the fuel pump other than they were sending it out this week. I will try to update the thread or get Jeff to by Friday.

What was the buick engine? 4 or 6 cyl? I can't find any info on it?

I think it's a 2.8L 4 banger so the HPFP probably isn't compatible.

I think messaging the OE pump will be the only option till the V8 goes DI.... even then, that pump probably won't mount on the LLT. But, the injectors just might....

I was thinking that if the LLT has a mechanical pressure regulator that it may need some work as well to increase it's max pressure. I don't have any info on that though my guess is that Vince has probably tweaked that electrically to get what he could already. So, even if they can "squeeze" a bit more from the pump, the regulator may still limit the max fuel....

SO, I noticed that the Adkins turbo thread has been closed. What's going on with these threads? I really hate to see them die, but its getting to be the same on them. Is this still in the works? I'm sure that Will's track record has spoken again.

Phase 2 of my build is starting and the IPS build is still progressing. Both of these work as is, but we are now searching for more safe power. That's going to require some changes to the fuel system, and without aftermarket parts readily available, both IPS and RX are having to develop custom solutions. It's going to take a little time. If you are interested in buying one, I'm sure you can pick up either kit right now and work out some arrangement to get the fuel system upgrade later.

Well, that is the direction I'm looking for, but I not in that huge hurry, as I'm already using the juice. I'm fine waiting for the final product. I just get a bad gut about it, when you don't see them progress from a certain point. My main concern isn't yours, or IPS's build. I have complete confidence in those two builds... I think, and its completely just me thinking out loud, that Adkins has locked that thread, because it is dead, and he is gonna jump on the backs of other builds when they complete. They are stuck. Hope the fuel issue resolves, because it is a good move.
