ya, the round about thing is what has me worried

has to be 12 minimum camaros so far if I'm correct, but Charles possibly has more info on all this.

If I can make it (sorry I'm a mother of a 3 1/2 yr old, and need a sitter), then I wouldn't mind parking mine in the lot while you guys show yours off!! I mean, mine is basic and no one will care for it. All of yours, completely understandable!!!

Yeah this chapter is very active on the forums and on the streets. It comprises of both El Paso and Las Cruces, so its the Camaro5 El Paso/Las Cruces Chapter.

Don't feel bad that you have a stock Camaro, half of still have bone stock rides, some have slight modifications, others have some accessories ordered from GM and others have mean works going on in the engine. There's a wide variety of everything in the chapter you should never feel bad for what you because you know what, even though you have a V6 it still can out perform most of tye crap that you see out into the streets.

as soon as u posted in camaro5 basically u one of us now
and dont worry about a v6 our good friend eric has a v6
and once in a meet we were all going 140 150 mph and guess what eric was in front of me

just think of it that all 09 mustang gts have less hp than yours
not only gts but also bmw lexus hyundai etc
but with the help in this forum you can get the right modifications for your ride

Thanks everyone for all the warm welcomes!! I'll make sure to keep up with the threads!! I am hoping to make it tomorrow, but been at work for an hour and already talk of working the weekend.

So, if I can't make it for the beginning I'll try to catch up with you all a bit later!

Yeah, I did feel a little bummed

about the V6/V8 at first, but then realized I'm inexperienced in a Camaro, and people not familiar with 5th Gens won't know the difference anyways. haha!! Oh and the Mustang thing is AWESOME, bring it on!!! However, a co-worker does have a GT but a 2011 and asked if I wanted to race, I said in my 6 Banger HECK NO, but if you woulda asked when I was driving the 2SS/RS HECK YEAH!! I woulda whooped your a$$!!

The V-6 is still a powerful car in its own right. It is nothing to be ashaned of. I have been driving around with SS Camaros and they are shocked that I am able to keep up with them.

I'm guessing the ones in EP wont :(, really sucks that the one in LC doesnt work since I live there most of the year.
